  • Alecs PillikAlecs Pillik

From his humble beginnings on the N64, Alec's love for video games has flourished across all genres, from RPGs to FPSs. You can usually find him at work, at the Museum of London, out on the football pitch having a kick-around, or at home gaming with his friends. His favourite games include Left 4 Dead, Battlefield 3 & 4, Oblivion, Fallout 3 & 4 and Call of Duty: World at War. If you're on the Xbox One, don't forget to follow his gamertag for some cool game clips!

I will shake the hand of any man or woman (or attack helicopter) that can best me with analogue sticks and triggers before the mouse & keyboard combo triumphs. That's right, I'm a PC gamer through & through. My favourite games include the entire Battlefield series, Guild Wars 2, Left 4 Dead, Cossacks:EU, The Sims (vanilla), Warcraft III, Call of Duty: United Offensive, Stronghold: Crusader, Oblivion, and good old Minesweeper.

  • KailiosKailios

A gamer of multiple platforms and genres, it could be safe to say Kailios has been there and done that. He has always had a soft spot for the fantasy genre, being a big Blizzard and Bethesda fan but is also open to other styles too. Although the only genre he hasn't played properly is driving.... Maybe this gen he will give it a go. His favourite games include: Skyrim, Far Cry 3, Legend of Zelda Wind Waker, Left 4 Dead and Diablo 3. It goes without saying that he is a huge fan of the Warcraft series.

Jonathan spent most of his teenage years in his room glued to his TV. He got a late start in his gaming career, but in 2004 the Christmas present that was his faithful PlayStation 2 (along with Spider-man 2 The Video Game) opened the doors to his love for the video game industry. A completionist to the core, he won’t stop until every trophy is obtained, every secret is unveiled, and every unlockable is in his possession. He loves a great RPG, but he’ll play pretty much anything as long as it’s a great game. If he’s not in class, or at one of his two jobs, then you’ll probably find him in his room on an adventure. Though you’ll occasionally find him enjoying a few matches of League of Legends with his friends! His favorite games include Bioshock, Kingdom Hearts 2, Batman Arkham City and Dark Souls.

  • FantasyMeisterFantasyMeister

FantasyMeister is an old gamer. Born in the same year that development on ARPANET began, his pre-internet years were spent falling off skateboards and scrounging 10p pieces for the arcades. He got his first computer at age 14 (Sinclair ZX81) and his dream of becoming a bedroom coder were shattered by getting hooked on games instead. Sega, Sony and Microsoft are all subsequently to blame for his complete withdrawal from the outside world. He has a PC with Steam, an Xbox 360, a PS2, a PS4, a PSP, a 10.1" Android tablet, a PSVita, a Gameboy (somewhere) and a pile of shame so high that even Sir Ranulph Fiennes hasn't scaled it. He has a tendency to be gripped by life-sapping RPGs, and when he's not doing that he's entering competitions to win even more games.

  • KevingwayKevingway

Having been inducted into the gaming culture with the original Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Genesis, Kevin is an American gamer who found a keen enjoyment in grabbing anything that could be played and playing it: shooters, puzzle games, and even full-blown RPGs. Sports and sports-based games were never a major contender, but racing games certainly never fell short on interest, either. With decades of experience in most older consoles combined with an ongoing enjoyment of both new and old PC releases, Kevin will give any game a fair chance up until it's completely worn and torn. His favorites include Legend of Legaia, Super Smash Brothers, Jak and Daxter, and Mega Man X.

Born and raised in the temperate Pacific Northwest region of the U.S., Chris has spent many a rainy day indoors playing video games. Some of his favourites include Chrono Trigger, most of the Pokémon series, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy V, and Sonic the Hedgehog. Once a games reviews editor in his own right, Chris has returned to writing after a prolonged absence - some people claim he's been sighted off the coast of Belize, enjoying a half-drunken soul search, but he can neither confirm nor deny that as of this time. What is known is that he's excited to be writing again. Chris lives in rainy Washington State with his wife and cat. He enjoys backpacking and mildly tolerates American football.
